How Far Along: 31 weeks
Size of Baby W: Four Navel Oranges (about 16.25 inches & 3.3 lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 16 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Mostly normal tops & dresses; some maternity pants
Gender: BOY!!! Wyndon James Wagner
Movement: He's been pretty active off & on all day, but most active in the evenings & I can feel more of his movements, rather than just kicking
What I Miss: Sleeping on my stomach
Cravings: McDonald's French Fries, Any Chocolate & Coke
Wyatt's Cravings: None
Symptoms: Leg cramps at night; having to go to the bathroom more often; more difficulty sleeping/getting comfortable; indigestion; low back pain; and getting out of breath easier (yes, the list keeps getting longer!)
Best Moment This Week: Getting to see the finished bedding and going through all the baby clothes my mom has gotten and picking out the smallest ones to bring home to put in the nursery!

There isn't much new to report on my pregnancy. It seems like my belly is getting so much bigger each week. Sometimes I look in the mirror and am just amazed at how big it's gotten! It'll be interesting to see how much bigger it gets, lol. A lot of my normal shirts are getting too tight to wear. It seems like I feel every single movement Wyndon makes. The movement is no longer just a small area, but my whole belly seems to move when he moves. It's crazy to be able to feel his arms, legs, or body when he moves (I still don't know which part I'm feeling, but when I am laying down I can really feel some body part). Wyatt gets weirded out when we lay belly to belly and he feels him move. It's funny 'cause he'll kinda jump and then move or put his hand between our bellies, lol! Sometimes I 'might' put my belly up next to him on purpose when I know Wyndon is moving just to see Wyatt's reaction! I still have to occasionally remind myself that yes, I am really pregnant! It is so hard to believe that my due date is only 2 months from today! I am so excited to meet this little guy, but we still have lots to do!

Saturday was my 10 year high school reunion. I CAN'T believe I've been out of school for 10 years! I still feel like I just graduated a year or two ago. Since we moved the summer before my senior year, I didn't know all of my classmates very well, but I got to know a handful of them. It was good to see them and catch up a little. We had a cookout for lunch Saturday and then Wyatt and I went to dinner with my 2 best friends and their husbands. It was sooo good to see my bestest friends! I love them so much and can't wait to see them again in a few weeks!

While we were at my parents house, I got to see the finished bedding my mom made. She still has to finish the quilt and the valances, but the bumper pads are done! I LOVE THEM!!!!! I just can't wait to put the room together so I can enjoy looking at it every day. The colors look so good together and are definitely 'me'! My mom did an awesome job! Thanks monna!!!

Here's my mid-week/30 1/2 week pic:

I ordered this skirt off of ebay and didn't realize it has purple-ish and gray zebra stripes along with the black ones. I remembered I had a shirt I got on clearance from Old Navy that I hadn't found anything to wear with, so I pulled it out and what-do-ya-know - it matched! I was pretty excited!

This week has been kind of weird - it hasn't really gone by fast or slow. All day yesterday (Thursday), I kept thinking it was Friday. Then, today kinda felt like Saturday, so I guess I'm just a day ahead or something, lol. I have to work tomorrow, but I do have Monday off, so I am definitely looking forward to that. Hopefully I can be productive and get something accomplished (I have no idea what yet, but probably will include some cleaning). I know what is on Wyatt's agenda for this weekend - getting the office/nursery painted!

I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

I Survived the Vampire! (30 Weeks)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 15 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Mostly normal tops & dresses; some maternity pants
Gender: BOY!!! Wyndon James Wagner
Movement: He's been pretty active off & on all day, but most active in the evenings & I can feel more of his movements, rather than just kicking
What I Miss: Sleeping on my stomach

Wyatt's Cravings: None

Best Moment This Week: Hearing his heartbeat at our appointment yesterday

We had a really good appointment yesterday. My doctor said everything was looking good & measuring perfectly. We got to hear his heartbeat again and she said he sounded great! He was actually moving around/kicking some and so she said we got to hear how his heartbeat accelerated - which showed good neurological development (or something like that). It was in the 160s. I had also asked about if we get another ultrasound and she said only if there is some medical reason they need to check something else out. I asked her how they knew what position the baby was in and how they knew how big he was. She said that from experience and listening to where they hear the heartbeat they can determine if the baby is head down or breech. She also said that they use the measurements they take each visit to track the growth of the baby to see how big he is. Our next appointment is in 2 weeks. I can't believe we only have 10 weeks left!

Now, for the title....   I went to do my glucose test yesterday morning before my appointment. I had to drink a really sugary orange drink and then after an hour, have my blood drawn. I have an extreme dislike for needles and prefer to never get a shot or have blood taken unless absolutely necessary. So, on my second appointment when they did a blood test, I had to visit the 'vampire' and then again yesterday. I almost passed out after the first one, but yesterday's went really quickly and I didn't have any lightheadedness (probably because of that sugary drink, lol!). Here is proof I was attacked by a 'vampire' & survived:

If you look really closely in the bend of my elbow, you can see where it's starting to bruise (it's easier to see in person - I just couldn't get it to show up in the picture very well).

We went to our childbirth class on Saturday. I didn't really learn much that I didn't already know about. I did decide that there should be some way to just skip the whole birthing process, lol! I have always been leery of epidurals (you know the whole needle being inserted into your back thing) and I'm even more leery of it now after seeing it! It just looks painful! I'm not sure which would be worse - the labor pains or the epidural, lol! I know each person/labor is different, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see how things go for me. My doctor's procedure is that you sign up for the epidural, even if you don't plan to use it.

I'm not sure how much Wyatt already knew or what he learned from the class & videos we watched, other than the few comments he made about how nasty the placenta was. As our teacher (I guess she'd be called that) said, there were a few kooky parts in the videos. One of which was showing the placenta to the mom & dad in a little container after they had the baby. She assured us that that wouldn't really happen, hahaha. We got a few freebies - small bag with some formula and a gift bag with more formula & coupons- at the very end of the class. Then we all left and went to the hospital for the tour. They are currently remodeling and we found out most of us in the class will get to be in the newly remodeled rooms when we have our babies. We only got to see the 'old' rooms (which were pretty small) and there were only 2 babies in the nursery. She said most people try to go home before the weekend so that's why there weren't very many there.

After we left the hospital, we headed to Babies R Us to register. We were in there for a looooong time! Not only is it a big store, but both of us are fairly indecisive (especially on stuff we don't really know much about)! On the few items we weren't sure about or just couldn't decide, we scanned both items and said we'd let whoever buys the item make the decision, lol! We haven't put a baby monitor on the registry yet because Wyatt wanted to do some research to see which brand & what kind is best. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?

At that point we were both starving and pretty close to exhausted. We went to Chick-fil-A for dinner and then decided to go ahead & register at Target while we were out. Luckily, Target's baby department is a lot smaller than Babies R Us because I don't think either of us had enough energy to do that again! We finally got home a little after 7:30 and were both just completely exhausted! We seriously considered going to bed right then, lol. It was fun to look at all the baby stuff and we are glad we got the registering done - one more thing to mark off the list!

Here's my mid-week pic: 29 1/2 weeks:

Sunday afternoon I had planned to do a few little things and mostly take it easy and relax. Did that happen? Nope! I wound up helping Wyatt go through all his clothes, getting them organized into seasons and the winter ones packed up into bins to put in the attic. There were also some bins of my clothes that needed to be put in the attic. While he finished up, I went on our weekly grocery shopping trip. I was pretty proud of myself that I was in and out of Walmart in 1 hour! That is pretty good for me! By the time I got home, it was time to eat and head back to church. Just like that, our weekend was over.

Sorry this has been such a long post - but I had lots to update :) For those of you that made it to the end, thanks for sticking with me! I hope everyone has a great last 2 days of the workweek!

29 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 29 weeks
Size of Baby W: Butternut Squash (about 15.25 inches & 2.5 lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 14 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Not sure my pants will fasten anymore, but I have started wearing shorts due to the warmer temps & those are maternity - so I guess I've officially started wearing some maternity clothes
Gender: BOY!!! Wyndon James Wagner
Movement: He's been pretty active off & on all day, but most active in the evenings & I can feel more of his movements, rather than just kicking
What I Miss: Sleeping on my stomach
Cravings: Any french fries (still mostly McDonald's) & brownies
Wyatt's Cravings: None
Symptoms: Leg cramps at night; having to go to the bathroom more often; more difficulty sleeping/getting comfortable; and getting out of breath easier
Best Moment This Week: Sitting on the couch with Wyatt Monday night just watching my belly move for quite a while

I can definitely tell I am lugging around more weight and my belly is starting to interfere with every day tasks -like putting socks on or tying my shoes. I also notice I get winded a lot easier than I used to. Sometimes I'll just be talking and have to stop to take an extra breath. I have also been having more trouble getting comfortable at night. Pre-pregnancy I was completely a belly/tummy sleeper, so having to sleep on my side has been a HUGE adjustment. Monday night was probably one of the worst night's sleep I've had. I couldn't get comfortable, but when I would enough to fall asleep, I'd wake up sore a little later. I woke up around 2 am and had to go to the bathroom. My whole right side (shoulder, neck, and back) were sore. I decided to get up and get a drink & try to work some of the kinks out. I wound up being up for about 30 min and then headed back to bed. I also had super crazy dreams ALL night. Apparently I was in the middle of one when I started digging my fingernails into Wyatt's chest. That caused him to jump/wake up which caused me to jump/wake up. He said I was trying to attack him, lol! I told him sorry I must've been having another crazy dream. Don't worry, I didn't leave any marks ;)

This past Friday night and Saturday morning we had a marriage conference at our church. The man who spoke was really awesome. Wyatt and I had such a good time! We went with a few other couples to Orange Leaf for frozen yogurt afterward on Friday night and didn't get home until midnight! That is really late for us! We've definitely turned into an old married couple with how early we go to bed (mostly due to how early Wyatt has to go to work), but the fellowship was a lot of fun.

Saturday afternoon we worked on getting some things cleaned up/out and organized. I worked in our guest bedroom - putting a lot of stuff away that had collected on the bed and cleaning stuff out from under the bed (one of my storage places for craft stuff) in preparation to turn it the other way to make room for our huge chair. Meanwhile, Wyatt worked on the storage building so we'd have room to put some of the stuff from the garage out there. He planned to also mow the yard and install a piece on his car, however it got dark before he got to those. So he had to do that Sunday afternoon, which meant I made the grocery shopping trip by myself. There were a few things I had to wait on him to call me back about so I wound up walking across the store a couple of times. By the time I got to my car, I was pooped! That's when I could really tell how big of a difference 13-14 extra pounds can make!

We are hopefully going to get started 'painting' the nursery by this weekend. We just have to find someone to help Wyatt move the chair and he's going to take down the desk & we'll be good to go. I can't wait to see how everything will look together!

This Saturday we have our childbirth class - that should be interesting. At the end, we get to tour the hospital, so I'm pretty excited about that. Then, we're planning to go get registered afterwards - any tips/suggestions are appreciated ;) So it's going to be another busy weekend.

Here's my mid-week/mother's day pic:

Hope everyone has a great week!

28 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 28 weeks
Size of Baby W: Chinese Cabbage (about 15 inches & 2.25 lbs)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 13 pounds
Maternity Clothes: Technically no - I can still fasten my pants (barely) but its not very comfortable, so I started wearing a Bella Band
Gender: BOY!!! Wyndon James Wagner
Movement: He's been pretty active off & on all day
What I Miss: Sleeping on my stomach
Cravings: Ice cream & McDonald's french fries
Wyatt's Cravings: None
Symptoms: Leg cramps at night; some pains (I think maybe growing pains) on the top & bottom of my belly; & I've been really tired the past few days
Best Moment This Week: Feeling him move a lot!

I don't really have much new to report on - things have been pretty much the same with my pregnancy this week. I do feel like my belly grew a lot this week and I say that I can't believe how big it's gotten almost every day, lol! It seems like I'm feeling more of Wyndon's movements - probably because he's getting bigger. Sometimes it feels like something hard and round is pushing out like his knee, elbow, or fist. I wish I knew which body part it was.... I've heard that toward the end you'll be able to see like a perfect little footprint or something. That will be so cool!

We went to look for paint last weekend. I think we've decided on what we want to do... It's not exactly just paint... so Wyatt's been reading up on the process. I think I'll wait until it's done and just post pictures of it ;) Also, we were trying to decide how to arrange our furniture and rooms to make everything fit. We have a humongous rocking/reclining chair that matches our couch and loveseat that has been in the office since it won't fit in the living room. We were going to just leave it in there, take down the desk, and put the crib and changing table in there to make the nursery. Well, that's going to be one crowded room! So, I did some measuring and have decided to turn the bed in our guest bedroom the other way and we should have room to move the chair in there. Then we can just have the baby stuff in the old office/new nursery. I'll just have to find someone to help Wyatt move the chair, lol! We're hoping to start moving/switching everything this weekend so we can get the nursery started.

We've been thinking about getting a new table, since we had a tiny 2'x3' table with only 2 stools. We will eventually need somewhere for Wyndon to sit and since we'll be having family over after he's born, we thought they might like to sit somewhere too. We also want to invite friends over for dinner sometime. So we started looking online a little while back and went to a few stores earlier this week. We found the set that we like and for a really good deal. So, we got a new table & chairs this week! Wyatt's only gotten 2 of the chairs put together so far (he's been working extra at work and had a flight yesterday, so hasn't had time to get to the others) so I'll post a pic once we get the whole thing together.

Here's my mid-week pic: 27 1/2 weeks
I am so glad it's Friday! This week has been soooo long! We have something for the next 3 weekends, then it's Memorial Day weekend, then it's June and we have something the last 3 weekends, and then it'll be July! I can't believe how close we are getting!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
